I guess if you haven't read the "Butterfly" series yet this would be cool but this book was made after all those so I don't get the point of why is was even published. It was kind of a waste of money buying this book and a waste of time. When she finds out, she is torn between love and revenge. When a contract killer is hired to take down the Cartel, she unwittingly falls for the son. Coming together for the first in the series of ‘The Cartel’ novels, Antoinette and Coleman really make the most of their story and their world. When its leader dies, he leaves behind a familyand a secret: an illegitimate son. The Cartel Released through the Urban Books publishing label, this was first published in 2009, on1st of January to much acclaim. I hoped this one would have focused more on Alani having the baby and how their lives would be after the baby came. Book Description: The Cartel dominates the Miami drug trade. Everything else was old news and repetitive from the other books. The only thing I felt was new was that Alani thought Ethic was cheating but come to find out he was just planning a surprise baby shower for her and that was already told to us in the summary. it hit on Bella and Henny brewing relationship a little but not much more to them than we already read about. it goes back over Morgan's relationship/ love triangle which we already read about and in much more detail in "Butterfly". What was the point of this book? it tells about Alani's pregnancy which we already learned and read about in "Butterfly".
